  leaving the society was scary at first but i had to make myself grin and bear it.

  i have renewed my relationship with christ and i am looking foward to his wonderful blessings in my future.

  now that i am finally worshipping him in spirit and truth and i have the hope of going to heaven someday.

  im not passing judgement burn just the knowledge of God's word...only God can judge . I know His word says he will deal with the unbeliever and I do emphasize He will. Im just trying to get them to see that the jws are human just like them but just because they are a false prophet dosen't mean all they teach is false. I would not deal with them (jw) anymore except to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ

  ok all smart intellectuals: prove that there is no God.....look around...everyone has heard of the scientist admit that Jesus existed years ago. So stop letting Satan blind y'all minds like the watchtower did and come out of it. Hasn't Satan done enough in your life. I suggest you all come to your senses and acknowledge God and his son or you will die and go to hell. Just like he told Eve she would not die he has you believing there is no God. He tried to tempt Jesus God's son so what do you think he is going to do to you.? You don't stand a chance.

  Could You Live Without God?

  i have said before in past posts - i think a belief in a god is because of two bad reasons.. 1. ignorance (not always deliberate at all) of certain facts.

  the universe and life on earth was not designed.. 2. wanting to believe in a god.. so, to focus on the second, i can see why people would want there to be a god.. you see dead loved ones again, you live forever, you have a purpose set out for you, you feel there's always a being with you through even your most difficult times.

  for those who believe in a god, could you live without one?

  NEVER! no way you guys are crazy....yes the wts is a false prophet...but that does not mean that God does not exist...open your hearts to Jesus...read the book of Romans..the Bible speaks of false prophets...so we ran into one that tricked us ...so what live on!

  Do you consider your time as a JW wasted time??

  many of us have devoted a lot of time and energy to the jw's at the expense of other things like education , planing for retirement , family time just to name a few.. i don't consider it all wasted time there was a lot of good i learnt however i'm doing things now as a jw i never would have.. i don't have the same time pressure and never fell guilty about taking a lot of time out for myself as one elder said to me"if we don't keep you brothers real busy in the work of the kingdom you get swallowed up by the world" .

  I'm curious- why 'god'?

  i know how i got sucked into the b0rg- i was a very spiritual, very young and very emotionally damaged 19 year old (raised in a violent on all levels home, the usual stuff) who was having- and had always had- a lot of 'supernatural' experiences that had caused my mother to declare me 'evil' (and try to get me exorcised on the odd occasion).

  i'd become confused and was trying to work out if these things were, in fact, a sign of my rejection from 'god'.

  if i'd known then what i know now about the christian god, i'd have told the jw's to stick it.

  I see Satan is accomplishing his mission in some respects....what a shame
